Firefighters and Pilots!

We had a great time at the fire station.  Chief Mike and Firfighter Matt were so great to come volunteer and teach fire safety.  Kincade was chosen to try on the suit.  He makes a great firefighter.

 Chief Mike teaches all of us to Stop, Drop and roll when we have a fire on us.  Whitney is a helper showing us how.

 We loved the fire station.  All of Tooele has volunteer fire dept. help.  We have great gratitude for their dedication and love for our community.

 Fire fighter Mike and Matt are teaching how to stay out of the house once you are out.  Also he reminded us to teach 911 to our children and to have a fire plan at our house.

 We had a pilot come visit us.  This is my husband Lynn he is such a good sport to come talk to the kids every year.

 Wyatt got to be a pilot for the day.  He flew us on a trip.  The kids loved flying and learning about airlplanes.

 The kids had a lot of questions.  Lynn talked to them about how fast the planes fo and how they hold a lot of passengers.

 He showed them the globe and taught about the ocean and mtns.

 He also told them about why airplanes can fly. (wings, tails and propellers)  he showed them different kinds of airplanes.)

 Kenzington was a captain and she almost crashed the plane (silly girl)  but... she saved  us all.  She was great!

Captain Lynn Johnson and carey Price.   My husband has been a pilot flying for SkyWest for 11 years now.  He loves his job and I am so grateful for his support in my love of teaching.   Thanks to all of the firefighters for our field trip  and to my husband for coming to Pilot day.
