What lives in the snow???

We are learning about Ice castles, Snow Kings and Queens and animals that live in the snow. Polar bears, Penguins, Reindeer & Snow owls. The Children dressed up in the nice clothes to learn manners. We talked about treating boys and girls nicely. Each boy danced with a girl. "silly dancing" The girls all sad "ewwww" and the boys all said "No way!" I reminded them that we are friends and we are nice to each other because we are friends. Once they became Kings and queens they picked partners and danced and laughed. Everyone had fun! Later we did a scarf and glitter song. Then it was time for a fun snow ball fight! (Snow with cotton balls) The kids wanted to keep that snowball fight going. We will have to do that again.

Let it snow, let it snow let it snow! Each child followed direction to "Let it snow!"

Griffin was not sure he wanted to dance with a girl! He warmed up and realized we are all friends in school. "No girl clubs and boy clubs, just preschool friends"
