Pirate "Texture hunt"

Arghhh Mateys! My little pirate friends went on a texture hunt. We were discovering textures all month. So we found the pirate flags, with the help of our Pirate map,and at the end we discovered treasure. Good little Matey's we found the treasure!

Great texture hunters. We had so much fun learning textures and playing pirates. We also learned being a pirate for a day is long enough. Because they never brush their teeth and never go to sleep, and they don't see their moms and dads. Good thing we have imaginations.

Shaving cream art!

We were learning textures this month. Shaving cream art is a fun thing to do at home as well. The kids loved this project. What does shaving cream feel like? Textures are all around us. The children loved getting messy and it is easy clean up, try it at home.

We got to check out the bakery. We saw a huge freezer and a big oven. Sprinkles, cakes and cookies. They gave us bread and cookies to taste. YUMMY!

Laura is our fieldtrip guide she is wonderful! (Liberty's mother)

She showed us all sorts of veggies and fruits and asked what textures they were. The kids were great at this game.
