We dressed in our favorite book character- I was quite impressed. We had curious George, Fancy Nancy, BuZz, Pinkalivious, Silverlicious, Purpleicious, Thing one, Princesses, Dinosaurs. Very fun day!

We learned a lot about what we can recycle- Did you know you can use a blue garbage bag and fill it with all recyclable materials (excluding compose) and throw that garbage bag in your regular large garbage can? They sort the blue bags into the recycle piles at the dump.
We practiced simple sounding out words. The kids had fun making words.
